If the time of this webinar doesn't suit you, you can still register to be sent the recording.

This free webinar will provide tips and ideas on how organisations of any size or type can get involved in NZ Road Safety Week.

This year's Road Safety Week theme is speed. Speed is still a significant road safety issue. Vehicle speed plays a part in every crash; the faster you're travelling, the longer it takes to stop and the bigger the forces involved in a crash, meaning people are more likely to be killed or seriously injured. Read more about this year's theme.

This webinar will cover:

  • how you can get involved in Road Safety Week
  • what your organisation can do to make a difference to road safety in your community
  • how the week can help you to engage your students/staff/customers/community in road safety
  • examples of activities that other organisations have run as part of Road Safety Week.

Speakers are:

  • Engaging schools in Road Safety Week - Bernadette Fatu, Community Transport Coordinator, Auckland Transport
  • Engaging staff and/or customers in Road Safety Week - Ryan Rolston, National Road Safety Manager, Fulton Hogan
  • Engaging the community in Road Safety Week - Sarah Wraight, Road Safety Coordinator, Taupo District Council
